Pastor Doug will give his personal opinion on what is needed for us to heal as a society and what it will take to move forward. Pastor Doug will also answer the question, would Jesus have attended a protest march for George Floyd.

Texas Commissioners file lawsuit against Sheriff over Live PD filming

The Police Pod Talk Crew will discuss a lawsuit filed by the Texas Commissioners in Willamson County against the Sheriff who continued to allow "Live PD" producers to film in the county even though the court voted to terminate its agreement with the show last year. In Abby's "What were you Thinking Man?" segment hear what happened to Officer J.R. Wood when he returned home after Church.

Jeff and I will continue our conversation on how we saw our lives growing up and how we worked our way through and around the obstacles that were either real or perceived to be real, holding us back and making us fight for what we believed in. Jeff will talk about his feelings on Protest then and now and what we need to understand about what we are seeing.

Monday on Police Pod Talk hear the first of a three part conversation with my brother, Jeff, out of Michigan. Jeff and I will discuss our lives growing up in an all black neighborhood and then moving out into the suburbs into an all white neighborhood where a petition was started to have our family removed,  what it was like riding the bus to and from school and the impact it had on our lives to this day. We will also talk about what we learned from our parents and what we see going on with the issues all of us are struggling with at this time.

Tuesday on Police Pod Talk former Police Officer Rob Snyder talks about his YouTube video titled “To my Brothers & Sisters in the Thin Blue Line.” Rob explains his reasons for doing the video and why he feels Law Enforcement is under attack and by whom. Rob will also discuss why at this time there is a true threat towards anyone who shows support to the men and women in blue. Rob also shares his feelings towards Protesters and BLM members and what is needed to make things better.

Domestic Violence Update

During this pandemic and time of being quarantined with your family there comes a point where we can all start to get on each others nerves.  Before you know it things are said, words are exchanged and in some cases violence occurs with injuries and then someone is arrested. Cathy Maggart, the Domestic Violence Coordinator with the Allen County Prosecutor's Office, discusses the recent uptick in cases and arrests at this time.  Cathy will discuss different resources that are available while being isolated.  Tune in Monday to Police Pod Talk to hear more from Cathy on Domestic Violence.
